“You wouldn’t understand... I’m rich.”
“Think of it this way, you can either drink with me or play a game of drunk karaoke with Grandma over there.” Alec made a rare decision to take the night off with his researching and find the time to put his responsibilities aside in order to destress the tension. If he wanted to blend into the crowd and pretend he wasn’t a human who knew the existence of vampires, the bundle of nerves those assholes could not only smell from miles away, but take to fucking with his head, he needed relaxation. Still, the wooden stake was never too far away from his person, hiding in an inner pocket of the jacket hanging on the back of a chair. Nighttime appears and the fangers come out to play.
Careful...
Alec took a deep breath and let the shot go, he watched as the arrow flew and met it’s target as it so often did. Not being one to boast but he did have a near perfect shot percentage, he had been spending more and more time when ever he needed to get away from everyone and everything. Ever since that circus had rolled into town and he found that ring .. things had been anything but normal.Memories flashed before his eyes and would often only leave him feeling more confused then ever before, he pulled another arrow out and drew back his bow when he saw them “ you have to be more careful I almost put an arrow in your back”

“No getting near my ass until you shave.”

He plopped himself on Liam’s lap with a petulant almost-pout on his lips. “Tell me I’m pretty.”
“I wasn’t born to be poor.”
Alec cozied up next to a stranger, back rested against the bar counter, a deep, heavy bass resounded around them. He lifted his glass for a sip, and for a long moment, his eyes scanned the throngs of bodies swaying to the rhythmic beat. There was no one of interest, not when Alec was curious about the stranger sitting on the stool next to him. His mind worked like that, fixated to a single focus like tunnel-vision. For some time, he faked nonchalance, before leaning in towards the other.
“So, who’s paying you to stalk me, and how much?” In all honesty, Alec wasn’t sure if the other was indeed stalking him, but at the very least that would be an engaging conversation starter.

“Are you dating that boy?” Alec asked, eyes lingering on the blond head of Miles’ ex, who was pulled away by none other than his man-toy of the night, Elliot. Not that Alec minded. The more the merrier, but he suspected Easton wouldn’t be up for that. The guy struck Alec as the uptight type, but who knows, maybe he was a kinkster in bed. He pulled Elliot’s client down to the seat next to him and fixed the brunette with a studious gaze. Uncovering secrets was fun, when they weren’t his. “Kit, was it?”
