The Assassin’s Blade (Throne of Glass Prequel)
Where to begin..
This humble reader followed our Co-editor’s advice (Thanks, Susan) and read the prequel to the Throne of Glass Novellas before the rest of the books in the series. Now this editor is helplessly hooked.
This prequel book will, without a doubt, leave you wanting to devour the rest of the books.
We get five stories that set pretty much what you need to know about Celeana Sardothien*, Arobynn Hamel**, Sam Courtland***, the kingdom of Adarlan and how this universe is set.
These stories are:
The Assassin and the Pirate Lord
The Assassin and the Healer
The Assassin and the Desert
The Assassin and the Underworld
The Assassin and the Empire
This is, without a doubt, a very carefully constructed universe. With its own complex problems (such as slavery and war), its own mythology and intricate mysteries. We have no idea why magic disappeared, what dirty business goes on in the Underworld, and who is truly Celaena Sardothien. Our only way of finding out is to get a comfy spot and keep reading.
