There was an event where […] where I had a problem with a kid who kept picking on me in kindergarten, so I approached my mum and I had asked her, uh [...] if uh… What I should do about it, because it really bothered me. And uh, she pretty much said that I should just straight up punch him. Now, I… I know that it’s not cool for a mum to tell… Like, a-a kindergartener to punch another kindergartener, but… I-I went to school the next day, and I thought about it, and I didn’t do it. But, I-I went home and I said, ‘Mum you know, I didn’t do it, I didn’t have the courage.’ And she said, 'Son if you punch him, I will buy you a toy car.’ And I thought: 'Yes. A toy car would be the greatest of all…. achievements.’ So I went to school the next day, walked up to the kid, and punched him right in the eye. And went home... WITH A TOY CAR! [...] I think overall that event has shaped me.
