I JUST FINISHED SCYTHE !! YIPPEE !

here’s some ranting under the cut (spoilers)

I love the whole morals thing and the different ways every scythe views gleaning.

Volta hit a special place in my heart. He simply couldn’t handle it anymore. He couldn’t keep watching the light leave people’s eyes. And I don’t blame him.

When he had to glean that Tonist kid, he really saw how frightened other people had become of scythes. And really the whole idea was insane. Everyone in that day and age is immortal. They could easily be revived. There was no need to murder any of them, and cover it up with “oh I’m just hitting my daily quota”. As a scythe, you couldn’t be biased. But, the people clearly were. Against them. And Volta couldn’t find the means to blame them.

His real name is so fucking stupid, but I’m gonna say it anyways. Shawn Dobson, I love you. I know he needs to hear that. MY CHILD.

Also. You can’t change my mind on this. Scythe Curie and Faraday are BAD 👏 ASS 👏

like Faraday literally escaped to Amazonia after FAKING HIS DEATH and went on a little retiring vacation. SIR HOW OLD ARE YOU. YOU DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO BE THIS AWESOME. And he came back to help Rowan escape. And you just know when Citra shot him in the leg, homie was a PROUD. FATHER.

and Curie? I- smash. Her and Faraday were together for seven whole years right under the High Blade’s noses. And no one found out until they discovered the journal entry. Also she was the BEST mentor Citra could’ve gotten.

literally the ONLY complaint I have, is that Citra and Rowan’s whole thing wasn’t really based on much. Sure, they trained together with Faraday for a few months, but I don’t think that’s enough time for you to be anything more than “oh I really admire you and you’re very attractive.” Maybe that’s just my aspec ass, idk-

Napoleon was shown to be participated in the lecture of the making of battery in 1800 at Institut de France. The man in front of him was Alessandro Volta.

Volta’s discoveries so impressed the world that in November 1800 the Institute of France invited him to lecture at events in which Napoleon Bonaparte participated. Napoleon helped with the experiments, drawing sparks from the battery, melting a steel wire, discharging an electric pistol and decomposing water into its elements.

Alessandro Volta was born on February 18, 1745. An Italian physicist and chemist who was a pioneer of electricity and power who is credited as the inventor of the electric battery and the discoverer of methane. Volta proved that electricity could be generated chemically and debunked the prevalent theory that electricity was generated solely by living beings.

Toyota Alessandro Volta 

In 2004, Italdesign-Giugiaro and Toyota collaborate to produce a striking new concept for the Geneva Motor Show. It had the drivetrain from the new Lexus RX400h, combined with a carbon fiber chassis and sports car body designed and produced by the famous Italian styling and development company. With a maximum speed of 250 km/h, acceleration from 0-100 km/h 4.03 seconds. The Toyota Alessandro Volta concept car proves that it is possible to deliver high performance in a car whose credentials are unimpeachable. The car is named after Alessandro Volta, the Italian scientist who discovered the battery. Unfortunately, the project had no continuity and remained in its concept phase.
