FangFest '24 - Day 1

Alex, the Malkavian fledgling, is one of those unfortunate kindred who has no idea they're a vampire and will not come to terms with it. Of course, he's also completely out of touch with reality as a Malkavian with a very tough derangement. His sire has been diablerized, he was taken in by the murderer (his fellow childer of the man), and well. His new adoptive sire is going to have many problems to work with.

Fun fact for Alex.

Originally he was a Resident Evil character I thought up. A surviving member of the elite police force of RPD S.T.A.R.S.

I had him survive the mansion incident, as well as the outbreak in Racoon City. Like Chris, harboring a grudge against Wesker and Chief Irons (although, I had Alex kill Irons in cold blood once he found out the Chief of RPD was in Umbrella's pocket).

Then my friend introduced me to the Monster Hunter International series, and he became the lycan/vampire hybrid he is.

Though, the one thing that connects the original concept for Alex, with who he is now, is the custom Beretta. The one used by former S.T.A.R.S member Barry Burton. In his Resident Evil concept, Alex alongside Barry used that particular custom sidearm.
