I feel like Swedish producers & songwriters experiment more in their pop songs when they write for kpop groups, or for Eurovision artists from countries with smaller music industries (i.e. Malta, Georgia).

Midnight Snack // Alex&Lux

The door to the kitchens squeaked slightly as Lux pushed them open and she winced. At this hour any squeak could give her detention and detention was the last place she wanted to be. Lux slid into the kitchens and gently closed the door. Thankfully the house elves were used to kids sneaking down for a snack and paid her no mind. One particularly tiny one, however, waddled up to her and asked what she wanted.

She asked if she could have whatever sweets they had and the little elf waddled off to fulfill her request. Ever since Lux had told Liam her secret, all she'd wanted to do was drown herself in chocolate and sweets. She knew she shouldn't have expected any better from him but something inside of her wanted him to be a real brother.

The little elf waddled back, holding the largest tray of goodies that Lux had ever seen and she felt a small smile force itself onto her face. She thanked the elf before digging in. She started with a chocolate frog, her favorite of all the sweets. It was in the middle of her third chocolate frog that Lux heard the unmistakable squeaking of the kitchen door.
