Alexander had been away from home for three days and Agatha was tired of it.
Sure, she could have gone with him but they didn't exactly have the best track record of excursions so she opted to sit this one out, deciding to spend time by herself. Besides, it was a business trip and he wouldn't have the time for her anyway, not until he settled the deal.
But this was a new level of busy for him. He rarely answered her calls and all the replies to her text messages were short and to the point. It made her miss him and his stupid jokes all the more and she couldn't wait until he got home and they could finally spend some time together.
Sighing as her call once again went to voicemail, she got up, pushing her phone aside and decided not to think about him anymore and enjoy herself. She planned to have a nice, relaxing bath and had already started looking for the bath bombs she knew she had bought last time they went shopping.
Alexander hadn't stopped whining until they left the shop, saying why did she have to get a whole box of them and that the bathroom smelled weird afterwards.
She suppressed a smile at the thought and rummaged around her closet for something nice and cosy to wear. She knew exactly what she wanted and was about to close the door until her eyes fell on an ugly Christmas sweater that she was pretty sure was Alexander's.
She brought it out and ran her fingers over the coarse material. A pang of sadness went through her as her mind was once again, occupied with thoughts of Alexander and what he might be doing. She chewed her lip in contemplation and finally decided to bring it along with her. It's not like he would be here to be annoyed at her for stealing it anyway.
The decision to take a bath proved to be one of the best of her life as she could practically feel all the tension and stress melting away. Agatha sighed in relief, leaning back a little more and took a deep breath, enjoying the various scents she had put in the water.
She didn't know how much time she spent in the water but when she got out, she felt like a completely new person, donned with Alexander's sweater and some comfortable pajamas.
Taking some time to read a book before bed, she sat down with a cup of tea and her favourite series and before she knew it, she was being shaken by someone.
She gasped, springing up from the bed, heart thudding a mile a minute before she registered the voice speaking to her.
"Hey, hey! It's me, Alexander. You're safe, you're okay." He held up his hands and slowly moved towards her, trying not to scare her and she calmed down slightly, hearing his soothing voice.
"Alex? What are you doing here?"
"We'll, I wanted to surprise you but considering you almost died of heart failure, I'm pretty sure it wasn't a good idea," he rolled his eyes and came to sit beside her, taking her shaky hand in his.
"Why are you wearing my sweater? It's so ugly," he wrinkled his nose and Agatha laughed.
"Because it smells like you, dummy. I thought you weren't coming back to me anymore and my only reminder of you would have been this ugly Christmas sweater, that I very much like, by the way," she teased and Alexander shook his head in amusement.
"You're an idiot."
"Yeah but I'm your idiot," she grinned and Alexander finally cracked a smile.
"So what does this idiot say about a day in bed? What we do in it on the other hand…" he smirked and Agatha smacked his arm.
"You just came back! At least have a shower before propositioning me!"
"Killjoy," he muttered, walking away to the bathroom.
Hello! I just play through “Chasing You” and I loved it! I can’t wait for episode 9 and 10 to come out! If you’re still doing the sentence fic thing here’s one: “Out of all the stupid, dangerous, and illegal things we done this by far wins the gold medal!”
Yay! I'm glad you liked it too! 💓 And since you didn't specify an LI, I'm going with Alexander ;)

"Out of all the stupid, dangerous, and illegal things we've done this by far, wins the gold medal!"
"Oh shut up, will you!" Agatha hissed, and as one burly looking guy looked in their direction, she immediately straightened up, looking at the paintings, pretending to be interested.
Alexander and her had disguised themselves as a rich couple, looking to buy a few expensive paintings from a museum that was actually run by the Russian mafia. She had finally run out of patience when there was another attempt at her life and Rachel had jokingly suggested going right into the middle of the fray like a secret agent. Agatha immediately expressed her interest in the idea as she looked on, horrified and of course, Alexander couldn't let her go alone.
So here she were, wearing stuffy wigs and clothes that probably cost more than what she could make in an entire year, with Alexander as her aid.
"If you're so against this then you shouldn't have volunteered to come," Agatha said in a whisper, eyes glancing around the venue, noting every small details that could help them.
"What and let my girlfriend go into the lion's den alone?" He scoffed and Agatha felt her face heat up. She still wasn't used to him calling her that.
Alexander must have noticed her sudden quietness because curled an arm around her waist and brought her closer to him.
"As long as I'm here, you have nothing to be worried about," he whispered in her ear and Agatha's skin prickled with goosebumps at his low voice, feeling his breath on her skin.
"Shut up and focus," she mumbled and this time, Alexander didn't hide his smugness.

Have you shopped @TheOutnet's 5th Birthday collection yet? Check out some of my fav pieces:
Can you believe that The Outnetis only 5 years old? For me it seems to have been around for as long as its higher-end, exclusive big sister Net-a-Porter, and it really has come a long way since its days as just a clearance outlet. Yeah it has always been the place to go for a designer bargain but the past 18-months or so I have really found it a go-to site when shopping for any occasion, not…
