Send “I need you” for a drabble about five times our muses depended on each other.@alex-dxnvers
1. Despite her situation a grin spread on her lips at the other’s words. Holding up a hand in the air to stop the other’s words, she did her best to keep a serious expression.“Just to get it clear - you, a cop, needs me, a thief, for help?” She raised an eyebrow slightly before grinning and nodded. Crossing her arms over her chest, she gave a nod. After all the did not really left her to answer otherwise.“What do you want me to do? Put up a magic act and get myself out of this glass cage?” She nodded to the glass separating them before taking a few steps back deeper into the cell holding her and looked around. For a moment she paced around, eyes scanning every inch of the cell aware that the other was still on the other side looking at her. “Okay,” she shrugged lightly in defeat and turned around to face the other.“Seems like I need you to get me out of here first.”
2. The apartment was quiet as Anna silently slid in through the vent and looked around. This did look like the right place. Full of dark and greys - just like agent Alex Danvers. Still there was no sign of the other. Had her information been wrong? Was the other still at work? She felt the gun in her back before she heard the click indicating that the gun was ready for fire. Slowly she held up her hands in the air glad that she had her back turned to the other. “Alex, it’s me.” She announced, the gun immediately removed from her back.“Glad to see you’re not that easy to sneak up on - not that I expected it.” The last words quickly added as she turned around. Dismissively she held up her hand as she heard the other’s gas, the sparse light that shone from the window revealing the bruises in her face.“Trust me it looks even worse when you turn on the light.” She managed to grin before grimacing slightly in pain. Better to keep the serious tone, she reminded herself before looking at the other, eyes narrowing slightly as she took a minute before finally admitting why she had come.“Turns out I need your help, Danvers.” She was not much for admitting it, but sometimes it was better to get help rather than bring more people in danger.“I stumbled upon something tonight - something right up your alley.”
3. “Don’t let go.” Eyes locked and Anna hoped her own eyes did not show as much panic as the other’s. Giving a small nod, she did her best to grip tighter in the other’s arm, but of course as soon as the words were spoken she felt her fingers start to slip. She let out a curse under her breath, eyes scanning the bare place around them while jaw moved slightly from side to side. Trying to get a better hold of the other, she looked down behind the woman to search for something that could help them. Of course there was not anything in reach as they were still on the outside of a castle. The bare smooth wall did not offer much support for the other to push herself up. She felt her partner slip slightly in her grip and Anna did her best to tighten her grip although knowing that it was helpless. There was no way she could get the other up. Again her jaw moved slightly as she looked around and eyes caught on something.“You have to trust me, Danvers.” She did not wait for an answer, not that Alex was in any other position than to lay her life in Anna’s hands. With a silent prayer that her plan would work, she let go of the other before quickly jumping after her. And then Supergirl caught them. Again she reached out to get a hold on the other.“Hold on,” she managed to grab tight around the other’s waist pulling her close before she felt the familiar tug in the harness around her body as the line tightened. A breathless grin spread on her lips as she looked at the other.“Told you I got everything under control.”
4. Much to her dismay, she had been told to stay out of the vent if she wanted to enter the other’s apartment. Still it did not prevent her to pick the lock to the front door as Alex took her sweet time answering it. It was not because it was past midnight, Anna knew the other was probably.“Hey, Alex?” She called and looked around. The place looked abandoned even though the lights were on. Alerted Anna put the pizza box on the table and slowly made her way further into the other’s apartment before coming to a stop as she found the woman in question curled up on the couch. Awkwardly she sat down on the edge of the couch nearby the other.“Uhh… You need a hug or something?” She would be lying if she did not hope the answer would be ‘no’. Still she did her best to give a proper hug, arms embracing the other and pulled her tight. After all a friend was in need, even if this was not her best talent.“I brought pizza?” She added after an awkward pause and smiled as she received a chuckle from the other. Maybe she had not done so bad after all.“If you want we can do the whole eat and talk thing?”
5. The first thing she did was to kick off the high heels. Worser prison on Earth was hard to find - and she spoke out of experience. Letting out a frustrated sigh, Anna tried to reach the zipper on her back. Why was this even an invention? What kind of designer had thought a zipper on the back was the right placement for such thing? Probably a man. Her chase causing her to spin around herself as a dog chasing her tail. Stubbornly she tried again before letting her shoulder slump. How she hated having to give up and admit defeat. Especially to something as ridiculous as a dress. She needed help. Putting on the shoes again, she grabbed her jacket and hurried to get someone she knew who could help.“Alex! I need your help.” She knocked on the other’s door that was quickly answered by a somewhat confused Alex. Again, the first thing to do was to get out of the shoes.“You can’t wear anything else with this dress.” She explained before pulling off the jacket and turned her back to the other.“Please, just get me out of this dress. Unzip me?!”
