• lioninnit hybrid perhaps? the whole mane and eyes and markings and everything

• give him a lion cap a la heracles

• lion themed jewelry! lion teeth earrings, lion head necklace, lion claw on a ring, etc

• crown and a sword with a lion decorating the hilt

• him holding up the world atlas style because strength is the theme right and it can signify him bearing the weight of his struggles and suffering underneath them but the ghostly forms of two lions are there helping him shoulder the burden

• you know how in those epic movie scenes you get the character battered and bruised and bloodied but they have their determined expression(tm) on and in the background you get some sort of animal or maybe a dead loved on matching said expression almost as if guiding them? yeah that!!
