"You were way out of their league anyway" for liam/ lexie??

Alexis let out another grunt of frustration as she swung at Liam, missing him completely as he dodged her with ease, straightening up with a smirk. 

“Come on, Lex. At least put some effort in here,” he teased. “You’re making me look too good here.” 

“Shut up,” Alexis shot back, but the animosity wasn’t directed at him. She was too busy glaring back out of the training room, her eyes narrowing as they followed Caoimhe and Jace walking past, heads close together as they talked. 

It was odd but knowing that Liam was hurting too, it made it a little easier for Alexis to watch her heart ripped to shreds in front of her. She loved Jace and Caoimhe, she did, but watching them together, knowing that Jace had eyes for one of her best friends, it kind of made Alexis want to punch a hole in a wall. Or go stab a demon.

But at least she wasn’t alone in that thought. 

Liam followed their gaze, his face darkening slightly for a moment too and Alexis didn’t miss the way his fists clenched ever so slightly, a tiny hint of his heart slipping out.

As Alexis and Liam locked eyes again, she watched as his face softened slightly. “Hey, you were way out of their league anyway,” he said, throwing her a wink in an attempt to lighten the mood back up.

“Then why am I talking to you?” Alexis threw back teasingly, straightening up into her fight stance again, watching as Liam easily matched her. 

Liam rolled his eyes at that. “Because I’m out of your league, so you gotta reach for something,” he said, flexing his muscles in a ridiculous fashion, a mockery of the same move Jace tended to pull when he thought he was being smooth but actually just ended up looking like he was trying way too hard. 

Alexis snorted as she shook her head. “Idiot.”

Ahhh yay I’m so glad people still care about Alexis even though I haven’t made new content for her in forever (new years resolution is to develop her fic properly i swear) haha. but yesss i do have a few crossovers for her! i’ve chatted to @peterparcour a bit about Lexie and her ocs Caoimhe and Liam (you can see a few of those posts in my alexis-freeman tag or my oc-crossover tag!) and also @chlobenet and I have agreed that Evie and Lexie would make great friends since they’re both a mess :P and I’m always up for more crossover chats with my girl! Lexie is a snarky ass angel who deserves some friends to make up for her shitty bf Jace so crossovers are always welcome!

YES OUR GIRLS omg i just want all the drama like alexis growing up with venus/izzy being parabatai and she’s t o t a l l y not jealous except that she lowkey is. i also just want them to be friends tho with their matching snark and potty mouths while everyone else glares at them. but also venus totally not putting up with alexis’s constant drama with jace every other week. she’d just tell alexis to get over it and then the two of them can go fight demons and kick ass together like omg gimme please. i’m here for it!!!
