Happy halloween! Here’s something I drew over a movie still of the eraserhead baby. cx I’ve joked a few times that @cosmicsynthetics cute little caterpillar aliens the Beanschemes look a little like the eraser head baby, so I just couldn’t resist. This one belongs to CS’ zalcoa character, Alfecco. <3

Beanschemes grow up to mimic the appearance of the species that raises them, so this is going to be one colourful zalcoa someday!

In which Alfecco and his sire/father Chelles argue over keeping weird colorful alien babies. I don’t know EXACTLY when this is supposed to happen in their storylines yet, but I just really wanted to illustrate it for practice today. I didn’t expect to get this invested in the picture! Also, for context, Alfecco does actually have a light speech impediment, in case the choice of phonetic writing was confusing!

I have so many doodles and personal work pics in general that I just haven’t been putting up lately, partly because I’ve been showing them to my pals on discord and just being like ‘nah saving out pngs is for less lazy people’

But I like how these lil character studies came out. I just really like Chelles and Alfecco (the guy with the baby in the top pic). They’re characters who belong to @cosmicsynthetics and I adore them and their whole plot line. Somehow Chelles succeeds in giving me a combination of ‘the illusive man’ from Mass effect AND ‘the girl who leapt through time’ vibes.

Relatives of Chelles aka that other zalcoa guy I drew! Top is Prima, and bottom is Alfecco. The latter is Chelles’ actual flesh and blood kid, and Prima is his....er.... futuristic GMO clone of his dead daughter? Yeah. The two of them also have weird heat manipulating skills that are technically scientific (Quantum vacuum manipulation? Quantum entanglement of particles that are heated and cooled?) -mostly they’re just unnerving and also angry people.

Characters and species both belong to @cosmicsynthetics! I just really wanted to draw them, I love their designs<3
