Just a little exercice in eye shape, and a reference for both myself and others who'd like to draw my little guys. Drawn in a non-blended way to fit various styles :)

- Little ja'khajiit! She was away for many years, has she forgotten the old Dar'zhirr and the Northern Elsweyr?
- But dad, I'm not a kitten anymore!
- Oh, she even speaks as if she was no khajiit!
Suthay-rath Atasha and her alfiq-rath father. After wandering in Tamriel for several years and learning more about other races, Atasha got used to speak in first person, and her father jokingly scolds her for forgetting native traditions. He himself flew from temple of Khenarthi and spent his youth in vagrancy and petty crimes.
If I’ve learned ANYTHING from the Khajiit fur-stock models for ESO and Legends it’s that Alfiq/Alfiq-rahts have the most cat-like expressions of their race.
So I can just imagine like
An adventuring party that has an Alfiq mage that just, whether because they’re just naturally quiet, or that speaking Ta’agra is much easier than common (which their party members can’t understand), they don’t say much. And their emotions are a mystery to most of the rest of the adventuring party.
Except this one Breton who grew up with like, fifteen cats.
And he’s really confused why the rest of his party has such a hard time telling what their fuzzy companion is feeling.
Like:
“Why the hell is she so calm? Those punks pick-pocketed nearly all of our gold!”
“What are you talking about? I have literally never seen anyone so angry. Her lucky coin was in there, you know.”
And:
“By the three, you’d think she’d be happy they doubled our reward, but her tail says otherwise.”
“No? She’s very excited!”
“Pray be, how can you tell?”
“She is clearly slightly wagging her tail, not lashing it, how is that not clear?”
