Paramore concert in February!!

I just realised I don’t think I’ve actually said anything about it here?! 

For a birthday present, my parents got me and a friend tickets to @paramore‘s Auckland concert in February next year, so excited to be going!!!! 

While I’m up there, I’m hopefully going to get to meet @alfrescotree and @moonprincess92nz in person for the first time as well, so that’ll be super exciting <3 

I’m so happy, I can’t wait!! :D

f // favourite songs: Too many and change too often? Evergreen choices on my playlist include All Saints’ “Pure Shores”, Sheryl Crow’s “Every Day is a Winding Road”, Roisin Murphy’s “Overpowered”, Stevie Wonder’s “Superstition”, the Romance from Sviridov’s “Snowstorm”... These are off the back of my hand - I have many “ooh I love this song”-moments in general. (E.g. I finished the rest of these and I already want to make c-pop, k-pop, chamber music, and Scandi-pop additions.)

g // grossest memory: In terms of biological-reflex grossness, one day in school (I think I was 14?), somebody had hidden their chewed gum among the salad in the salad bar at lunch, which I unwittingly picked up and tried to eat with a forkful of greens and then promptly spat out. I wish that kid a truly, spectacularly mediocre life. Apologies if anybody is grossed out now.

h // horror yes or horror no: Yes. I will probably get a little freaked out afterwards, but still, horror yes.

i // in love? Open to being~.

j // jealous of people: The friend who tagged me had the perfect answer: “ALL THE TIME. I’m working on it.” But at least we’re aware and therefore can work on it?

l // love at first sight or should i walk by again? Again, please.

n // number of siblings: One younger sibling. Brat. But I will protect them when needed.

o // one wish: A healthy balance of stability and adventure in life.

p // person you called last: My doctor.

q // questions you’re always asked: I share in tagger-friend’s “Where are you from?”, followed by “Where are your parents from?”, and an oft-chased “Do the product names at IKEA mean anything?”

s // song you last sang: I attempted Elina Nechayeva’s La Forza... (It came on while I was driving. I’m an alto/mezzo though, so imagine how that went.)

t // time you woke up: Around 08:32.

u // underwear colour: Navy.

v // vacation destination: I would love to explore more of SE Asia and the Far East. I didn’t try hard enough to see more of the region when I lived there. (In general, anywhere new would be lovely.)

w // worst habit: Not appreciating what I have. (See j and v... but I’m working on that too.)

x // x-rays: Left shin and foot, and teeth.

y // your favourite food: I like most foods. Currently into buckwheat noodles with various dipping sauces and toppings. The flavour combo of red bean paste and matcha is always a hit. Spicy is good, but it needs to be flavourful-spicy as opposed to, well, “bravado”-spicy. Beyond that it’s a case-by-case matter. Unless my mother is cooking. Everything she cooks is amazing.

Up in Auckland for the @paramore concert tomorrow, but today I was hanging out with and met for the very first time in person my lovely friend @flowerbombette /Louise! 😁 Thank you so much for the awesome day, Louise! I had a lot of fun ❤ (at Auckland, New Zealand)
