I hope you people like it, because my tendonitis didn't...

Here it is ! It was a hassle to upload
Tolkientober day 12, Brotherhood
I went for Feanor and Fingolfin, with the Sword Incident. Not the merriest event, but I really wanted to draw Fingolfin !
I also remember, before I came here, seeing a repost on Pinterest complaining that nobody ever followed the book description and gave Feanor his armor and helmet with red feathers, so I made a point to respect the description here (which mean I opened the book and literally followed the description)
Hope you guys like it !
Tolkientober day 30 : Werewolf
Finrod's death...
I tried a new way of coloring for that one, it was quite fun! But, really, fuck Carcharoth's fur. And I forgot to draw the chains... Anyway, I'm happy with the result! Hope you like it :)
Uni had been kicking my ass lately, so couldn't really find the energy to draw or post anything, sorry
Crablor is still in progress, but here's a little crow i embroidered on a patch instead:
Maybe I'll post a few things i've been working on on the side (but it's not Tolkien related)
Tolkientober day 8 : Rings
Here's the Ring of Barahir, also known as the Ring of Felagun ! I love its story.
First Finrod had it. It gave it to Barahir, Beren's father, as a friendship token and it was passed down to Beren, Dior, Elwing, Elros, and the royal of Numenor down to Aragorn. Centuries, millennia later, Galadriel sees her brother's ring on Aragorn's hand.
Such a beautiful object ❤️
Also, I know it's supposed to be all in silver but the gold just looked too good. Sue me.
Tolkientober day 21 : Roots
So. I might have missed the date. I'm in one of those periods when I keep forgetting the day, it's infuriating 😭
But anyway, here's Treebeard. I drew him with ink, and you might notice a splotch that I tried to mask as a hole in the tree. I also spilled ink on my desk during the process and ruined it (the desk). My phone was not spared. BUT I'm happy with the result so it was worth it ! 😁
Tolkientober day 24 : Monuments
The Argonath! The first time I saw this shot I was in awe.
I painted this in 2022, (and never touched oil again lol) but I thought I would share it anyway for Tolkientober.
I remember going mad over the rocks on the right of the painting, but I also had a lot of fun going through the process (mixing colours is soooo satisfying!)
A little Makalaurë as a treat 😋 With and without flowers
I can't make up my mind about his appearance... Brown hair or black hair? Brown/green eyes or blue eyes or black eyes? Curly or straight hair? Tan or fair skinned? With or without moles? I DON'T KNOW.
But I like that version !
Below the cut, another one I drew this summer :
