Hmmm... the thing I keep being skeptical of is a how a lot of people in fandom claim Seven would have ended the Time War easily and not even feel bad about killing and destroying their own people. He could walk it off by being manipulative to the point of destroying his close friends and, well according to forum discussions I’ve been reading again, not feel terrible about doing so.

That makes gives me an impression of Seven as a character I wouldn’t like and I just wanted to check if that is at all accurate?

Good omens is an experience. It's this crazy mish mash of Gaiman and Terry Pratchett at their best. That Gaiman's also helping make that series makes it even better. XD But yes read it. Blog it. enjoy the fuck out of it.

I'm basically a ravenclaw raised by hufflepuffs. The worst thing you could do was to threaten one of the family, and they'd close ranks and you'd be wrecked before you could blink. Nice doesn't mean they won't work you over in a heartbeat for hurting someone they love. Then get you to the doc right after.

My sister is as Hufflepuff as they come. And she would fuck a person up faster than I don’t know what if they messed with a member of her family or one of her friends that she’s basically adopted. And then be like “well...I told you to leave them alone. C’mon, I have a first aid kit.”

It is based on the weirdest thing Douglas Adams ever wrote, and it is still a very good adaptation of the books. Even though these stories aren't part of the two books, they get the whole atmosphere down right and the randomness just makes it more fun.

I’m sad to admit I’ve never read a single thing by Douglas Adams, but the more I hear other people talk about his writing the more I think I should change that.

He had a lot to draw on pre new 52. at least on this, he's stuck with Zack Snyder's mostly finished piece and likely directions. I'm also cringing with you on his eventual Batgirl stuff.

i am pretty sure that’s the reason it never got out of developmental hell, and i might not be a fan of snyder, at least he has visual style that’s not boring. it elicits a lot of polarizing reaction, yeah, but it’s not boring. unlike whedon, who commits imo the bigger scene: he’s composition of a scenes are boring. 

i am frowning at whedon changing composers though, i’m not sure what it means or if it meant anything. 

so, so worried about batgirl right now! especially after the killing joke. (ugh at bruce timm pushing bruce/barbara. why. whyyyyyyyyyy) i want barbara to be treated well, dammit!

Yes! She is so awesome! She is one of the few people who can go toe to toe with Clark and win! And, she has training rather than just rely on brute strength! 

BTW, I love the Amazonian fighting style! It is so awesome!
