Danton and Marat can translate that absolute penis comment so perhaps the entire National Convention learns about it.
I hope they recognize it as a celebration of the Roman physique and fraternity

America doesn't sound like a person who is almost starving and living in poverty. She sounds like a white middle class American teenager. Doesn't she also have her own room? That thing alone is a huge privilege that doesn't seem compatible with what she's telling us about her caste. (I mean, maybe? But it's def a luxury in my book - American homes tend to be bigger than what I'm used to). As if the author didn't have a clue on how to write poverty.
I thought I answered this but uh. Well.
Idk about everyone else, but though I am an only child my mother grew up sharing a room with her sister (her brother got his own room but that was because he was the only boy. The two youngest girls also shared a room) and most of my friends with siblings assigned the same sex seemed to share rooms if there were more than two kids. Of course pricing and size is highly dependent on where you live in the states, so if you live in the middle of nowhere you can have a much larger house for cheaper.
But idk, I suppose they could have assigned housing or something since no one is worried about making payments on the house either (and Eights are like. Mandated to be homeless? This caste system makes no sense).
Happy belated birthday, my dear!
you're not too late!! thank you, mira, and i'm sending you love and hugs! i'll have a drink on you!
Happy birthday!
Ho ho Ho! Thank you for the blessings!!!
Saint-Just tag is broken :( In any case, I really like sources provided on this blog so I'll be going through the history (no pun intended).
By all means!
@jefflion replied to your post “Okay, so it didn’t remember what page/chapter I was on, so thanks for...”
Am I the only one who wanted more of Rawaluk? I mean, yeah, it doesn't sound original but the book keeps talking about it and it makes it seem Significant when it isn't.
I did too, honestly!
It was set up to be this huge thing because it is the basis of which Serefin came back to the capital and the basis of how Nadya, Malachiasz, Parijahan, and Rashid entered the palace, but then it only actually happens for like a day and then other shit gets in the way.
It’s also saying that that makes me realise that holy shit, the pacing/timeline of this book is bad. Only a day at best has passed before everything turns into shit.
I don't want to sound overly invested, but Eccleston's quotes really hit me. I mean, I am not surprised at all, but I am still, idk... I feel bad for him. I am glad he's ready to talk about that stuff now. It needs to be said, for his own good and for the benefit of all (working class & other) men who face the same problems. Eccles comes to my town this Saturday (still feels unreal!) and I hope people will be great to him (no annoying questions) and that he'll have a semi-good time at least.
Yeah, same. I knew he had a terrible time on set during S1 cause everything was a mess. I also knew his dad was sick at some point and that contributed to the stressful situation. I didn’t know that he was already struggling with a ton of other issues at the same time. Poor guy.
I’m glad he has found help to get him back on track and I suppose being in therapy and now working through his past for his book helped him to come to terms with certain things. Seeing as he is doing more public appearances at cons and such I would hope that he feels more confident and comfortable talking about all of this. Cons are pretty stressful as they are and being grilled about things you don’t want to talk about sure doesn’t sound fun. It seems though he’s now ready to open up and I admire him a lot for his bravery.
An unpopular opinion?
This one is bound to be very unpopular on Tumblr but hey. I find fanfics involving real people to be creepy and weird. I totally get the ‘need’ to express desires and wishful thinking but... no. Actors and singers and all these people are real human beings and using them as characters in a story that’s generally sexual is so uncouth to me, haha. I focus my creative attention on fictional characters because that is far less creepy in my opinion 😏
