And scene! A boisterous round of applause and cheers ricochet off the Red Keep's interior walls, amazement palpable from the audience from the stage. Mia and her stage partners are quick to interlock hands, bowing to the crowd before exiting from stage left. While their performances may be over for the evening, for the blonde, the night has only just begun. [Though, the night would have to wait until she changed out of her stage wear.] Securing the attention of the closest guard, she's escorted to a room her belongings had been stored inside upon arrival. A makeshift dressing room for the night's purpose. When the door is shut behind her, it's only then she notices @alicence's presence in front of the burning fireplace. Startled, a hand clasps over where her heart lies beneath her chest, a soft gasp escaping from Mia's lips. "Your Grace, you startled me!" She exclaims, a tiny breath of relief wheezing its way out as her hand slowly descends back down to her side. "I was not expected a visit from anyone — please excuse my excitement. For the briefest of seconds, I thought you may have been an intruder." She's encountered many of those throughout her time inside the theater; weird intruders looking to have an interaction with her. [To encounter one behind the walls of the Red Keep, though? That would've been quite the tale for years to come.]
Curiosity igniting as the mummer enters further into the room, her head tilts to the side. Why had the Dowager Queen come to visit her anyway? Surely not to voice any [dis]pleasures about the play or her performance? That thought causes her nerves to begin thrumming; better to rip the bandage off the potential wound now than allow it to fester. "I hope the play was to your satisfaction, Your Grace. To the King's as well."
