Why does Chase need to reassure Nico that he won’t tell Alex about Nico and Karolina suddenly being together? Does Nico not want him to know? Why doesn’t she want him to know?
Hopefully I’m wrong, but I can’t help but see this leading into some unnecessary love-traingle bullshit drama that this show does not need.
I mean, one could argue that Nico needs to be clear with who she wants to be with. Going back, it’s kind of the reason her getting together with Karolina seemed so rushed. We could definitely get the since from episode 1 that Karolina was attracted/had a crush on Nico, but was still questioning her sexuality.
With Nico, it’s hard to tell if she suddenly has realized she also likes girls or if she has always been Bi. I’m really hoping in the latter.
On the other hand though, one could argue that Alex is a bit slow on the uptake and may mistakenly think that he is, in Molly’s words, still in the “dog house”. That being said, he needs to recognize the major trust issues within their relationship, that stem from his secrecy about Amy’s death.
I could be over-thinking it though. Maybe Alex already knows he and Nico are no-longer a thing, but he’s just not aware of her being with Karolina.
I just really hope we can avoid an unneeded love-triangle plot. The second season is already gonna have it’s plate full, and these kids still need character development outside of relationships.
