I would like you all to know that Yosuke Kihara/KeroKeroKingDX, the illustrator for the Kaiju Step Wandabada picture books, posted this design for 'Chibu-chan' on Twitter and I am absolutely melting.
The fact that this little guy didn't make it onto the show is a crime.

Oh absolutely! His shop is tiny and overcrowded with all his creations (to the point where it looks like the walls themselves are made of toys), but it’s near the local school and all the kids love it. All of his toys are hand (tentacle?) made, too.
