Lol so I made a really self indulgent irken character on my phone. I got intrigued by ppl’s headcanons about irkens w disabilities/war veterans so I made a general who was born without legs and has pak prosthetics. She’s very cool and my gf now.
She’s mad because if she did have legs, she woulda been on track to become a Tallest, but bc the irkens are dicks, height enhancements don’t count and now she can never be one. Thus begins my fave movie, “Red and Purple Must Die”.
Your lesbians in a play?
Yes!! Okay, so, plays are a pretty old thing around here. Although they still have a pretty big following, it isn’t nearly as big as it used to be. So I don’t think theatre and okays will be exceptionally popular amongst a more advanced civilization, if they even still exist.
However, Egzdra is definitely really really interested in human culture, and would somehow manage to drag Yuyu into participating in a play. More specifically, Wicked.
Yuyu, who, mind you, has an actually really good voice, ended up being Elphaba, while Egzdra got an extra. She was terribly disappointed but a bowl of ice-cream and a supportive Yuyu didn’t do her any bad. Besides, she would at least get to listen to Yuyu sing outside of their house.
Anywho, the rehearsals were really demanding for Yuyu and Egzdra got suuuuuuper bored and lonely at times, but they made up for it by spending pretty much every free moment together.
Um, then cane the actual play, and Yuyu actually had a good time. She’s never been the biggest fan of crowds and stages, but whenever she felt uneasy with it, she turned to look at Egzdra who would just give her a smile.
