Watching everyone freak out about Lily’s death is kinda funny because realistically given her general importance to the story and the known soon arrival of timekeeper cookie there is a high chance of her being brought back, be that through revival like we saw with her first death, her coming back as an angel/new guardian/etc, or simply timekeeper RESETTING the timeline

Like I don’t play a lot of ovenbreak (joined late and it’s quite overwhelming) but from what I do know about timekeeper she is a bit on the chaotic side and i BELIEVE she does fuck with timelines quite a bit?

Could be wrong on that last bit, I need to do more research into her character but you get my point

Either way I’m calling it, by this time next year Lily will be alive and maybe not ‘well’ but definitely alive

Something i genuinely love about lamb in the comic is that they ARE a very angry person and do want revenge

But they REFUSE to be like the bishops and give others the mercy that was not granted to them

It’s one of the reasons marchosias’ behavior towards the lamb annoys me because the lamb is treated as if they are just as bad as the bishops when, if you consider the comic and the game to be the more ‘official’ way the events play out than comparing lamb to the bishops in any right is spitting in the face of all they’ve done to prove otherwise, let alone that marchosias was most definitely ALIVE during the slaughter of the lambs just guessing by his aged appearance and comparing that to characters like ratau and Forneus

He KNOWS the lambs once lived on that mountain

He knows this is a mountain coveredthe slaughter of the innocent (no matter what yngya’s disciples did)

Yet he spits in the face of the last surviving lamb and tells them they don’t belong

Marchosias and the lamb could’ve aided each other in stopping the rot, and making sure a gods power doesn’t go unchallenged yet he chooses his ego over actually aiding any real change, giving the lamb endless lose-lose situations that will hurt, whom he assumably views as innocent bystanders

In most cases the lamb DOESN’T attack unless attacked first, even lamb in the comic is viciously against sacrifices, lamb is angry, and attacks those who harm them be them minions of the bishops or general attacking mobs, but the lamb is far more forgiving than anything else as we can see with the fact that sparing Hagar is even an OPTION

Lamb wants revenge at the beginning of their tale, and likely even during the events of woolhavan, that much is clear, but they refuse to be anything like the bishops and I think it’s so interesting seeing that divide
