Flashback Friday
...super sentai in my past!
Holy shit....I just realized something..
When I was a kid, roughly 5-ish (it was mid 1995) my best friend from next door always played with power ranger toys with me. We were the best of buds. Well, one day, I go over to his house to watch Power Rangers and he's wearing his new Costume! Though...now that I think about it, it was actually more of just a shirt than a costume. He was wearing what we now call the Mighty Morphin Alien Ranger costume/shirt/logo/whatever.
This angered me because he claimed it was power rangers! Alien Rangers didnt air till Feb '96. So, it being the summer of '95, I had no clue what the fuck he was talking about. However, he KEPT pushing that the costume he was wearing was power rangers! Coincidentally enough, he called them aliens because he didnt understand what they were saying and he had to read it. Months later Alien Rangers aired and I felt like a fucking prick because he was telling the truth the whole time about aliens and power rangers.
And now I sit here and realize...He was motherfucking watching Kakuranger with subtitles in 199-fucking-5 before Alien Rangers aired in america....
And my mind is blown like you have no idea right now...
