First drawing of a character I created a year or so ago. The story is only half an idea and I'm not pleased with the design, but given that I haven't drawn anything in ages, I'm not hating it.

Got the itch to do a self portrait. I've been obsessing over audiobooks, but also redrawing the story boards of my comic when I'm not exhausted from work. No promises on when shit will change, but I'm working on it.

Hi guys! I'm alive! lol I've been working like I don't have a life. Boss had me do a photoshop of a co-worker, when I have the backstory I'll post it. Anyway, I'm playing with a simplified style. Don't know how I'm doing, since this piece took me 3 hrs. In my defense, I was watching a Korean horror movie, so it might have slowed me down. lol Anywho... here's mine and Kacy's... (Kacey's... I think she settled on 'ey') OCs and which inspired Romy and Cyrus/Kai. I think I'm gonna give my comic script another go. See if I can figure out a way to actually knock out pages in my off time, since I'm not getting anywhere writing my writing.

I realized I hadn't drawn this character in several years and I was having trouble envisioning the outfit I assembled on Pinterest. Anyway, the premise is about humans who are born to serve gods, mostly protecting against monsters. This character instead is a thief who takes magickal items and returns them to the gods. One of the gods is a pig and thought this outfit was a good joke. She flips her shit on monster hunter friends who are like "no, we got to pick our outfits". But we know the pigeon is the real beauty in this piece. lol no really, my kid lit up when I said it'd crop it and do just a pigeon picture. Art © KittyRedden

Hey guys! I’ve restarted my comic, Slice of Life, rebranded as Flux. It will be slow going, because I work at a job like it actually matters, but I want to get back into my artwork, so here we are.

So much has happened, axed the boyfriend, wifey has started transitioning! YAY! and work is hell because of COViD. I’m so annoyed that I haven’t been drawing, but my muse abandoned me. Until the 28th of October when a 9 yr old sketch crossed my FB memories and I decided I HAD to redraw it.

Lots of distractions, so I didn’t start drawing until yesterday and didn’t get to finish until today. The subject is my mommy-friend Butters. Think my style has changed a little bit?

I hope to get more drawing in. Work is just kicking my ass. Love you guys!

So I was gonna start randomly drawing the crazy shit that happens in my life, but when this happened yesterday I realized I hadn’t drawn Pierce since the character sheet, and wanted to draw Chris that way.

I’m pretty sure I’ve drawn this with me and Mark in the past, but I can’t seem to find partners that wanna talk Sailor Moon or Harry Potter with me, so my eyes just glaze over as they talk and I desperately start trying to think of an escape. Boobs always work!

End of Flux

So I’d named the comic Flux but after a little bit of soul searching, I decided to put an end to the comic. It takes me days or even weeks to do a single page of a comic, where I can write twenty-plus pages of a story in an hour. I work a full-time job. At night when I come home, I am exhausted. On weekends, the last thing I want to do is feel guilty for working on my house or garden. I still intend to do artwork when the mood strikes me, but I’m not dedicating myself to a project. I’ve shut down my Patreon and I’m going to let the website expire in May 2021. Thank you all for your support. I will still be around on Facebook, FurAffinity, etc. I will maintain my WebToon and Tapas accounts as archives of my past work.

Guys! I did a character sheet! Took me two days! Romy got a slight redesign. Otherwise, I've spent the last week working on the site and writing the new storyline. PROGRESS!!
