thinking about Bajoran fur patterns..... I want to make a bigger/longer post with all my Bajoran redesign ideas and more in depth explanations and (cultural)explorations bc my head is so full of them !!!

These are just possible Bajoran appearances. I have a sketch I'm working on for a Kai Winn redesign, as well and Lupaza and Furel :p

Namekian redesign I did for @kradeiz

They evolved from a radially symmetrical ancestor, making their bodies roughly four-faceted. Over time, however, they adapted to one direction of motion and their front-most eyes shrunk down to be permanently forward facing. Despite humans preferring to look into that pair, their stalked eyes are actually their primary and more accurate set. Their armor is brightly colored in an aposematistic display, but in modern times it's often covered for cultural reasons.

Not the type of thing I'd usually post, but I decided to redesign the main three alien designs from the sci-fi show Babylon 5! Redesigning the Narn, Centauri and Minbari to be non-humanoid was very fun, especially when trying to re-interpret their defining features.

I reimagined the Narn as coming from a somewhat high-gravity world and thus having a dense squat physique, the Centauri as being an arboreal three-legged species (of course retaining their funky hair) and the Minbari as weird caterpillar-shrimp things, still having huge bald heads lol

Just did this for fun, I promise I will eventually get back to posting original worldbuilding content, I've just been a mix of lazy and busy </3 But please do patient with me.

Decimus Prime Redesign

Because let's face it- it needed it.

I wanted him to feel more like an old school brawler/street gif and… well- actually look like a transformer… Decimus’ original designs got a lot going on and not a lot of it makes sense.

Additionally, I believe like Upchuck, the Omnitrix would/should have two types of cybertronian forms: “Standard” (Autobot) and “Warframe” (Decipticon) so we’re ignoring DJW on that lol.

Still figuring out what exactly that would look like though I am tired and the plane aint planning bois

Personally, I find this particular tidbit DJW dropped FAR more interesting.

Garak is actually Tain's genetic clone. Tain wanted an ideal successor, but nurture turned out stronger than nature..
