reading ship mates and can't comment on patron yet, but I'm on like chapter four ish and at the line "He told you how usually the mating bond was between one female and a number of males who, while they didn’t bond in the same way with each other, were often extremely close and familiar with one another." I'm just like. smirking. like yeah. ok. they're naturally inclined to make harems. reader character will fit right into that lol
