Found this and kinda curious...if they are meant to be soft and stuff...how is the chest buster stuff done? Does it spit a fluffy egg that clings to the Lee's belly and gently and relaxingly tickles it so they don't try to get it off and stuff...constant lee mood...and once the egg hatches, cue fleeing and later, follows scent back to lee to be the equivalent of '...you're my lee now. We're having soft cuddles after tickles later!'
You have no idea how excited this question made me! ♡˖ ⊹ \ᐢᗜᐢ/⋆˙⟡
Oki prepare for a long yap:
Length: 2ft. Height: Stands at 1 foot tall
• The third stage of Leenomorph life cycle
↓ Facehuggers have hidden mouths beneath their furry underside that play a huge role in the next step of the Leenomorph life cycle. While tickling a human, Facehuggers multitask; unbeknownst to a human, Facehuggers will secretly extend their long proboscis under the shirt to attach a crumb-sized Leenomorph egg somewhere on the torso (e.g. under the arm, the waistline, or against the navel). Once attached, the Facehugger will cease its tickling, but can cling on for a little longer to ensure the egg is securely stuck to the skin.
• After the egg is attached to the surface of a human host’s skin, it will use a human’s natural body heat to grow rapidly
• Xeno eggs are undetectable to humans; you can carry on with your day and not feel a thing, nor will it irritate your skin
• Chestbursters do not need much time to hatch; it takes approximately under an hour for the alien embryo to fully mature
• Once they hatch, the newborn Chestburster is the size of a worm-on-a-string, but they will quickly grow up to 2 ft long in the matter of minutes
• Chestbursters are cold as soon as they hatch and immediately seek warmth, rubbing, slithering, and shivering against a human’s skin to keep warm (favorite spots to snuggle include under the arms or inside the navel)
• This action alone is very ticklish, as newborn Chestbursters are covered with soft, feathery fur. Reported encounters describe the feeling as a single long, vibrating feather tracing along their skin
• While they are rapidly growing, their human host will be prone to squeal and writhe in ticklish agony out of nowhere. But rest assured, they are not in any physical pain
• Once they have grown to full size—going by their namesake—these aliens will ‘burst’ out of the host’s chest by chewing through their shirt. A fair warning that your shirt will be ruined as a result
NOTICEABLE PHYSICAL TRAITS
Newborn Chestbursters are covered in soft, feathery baby fur that makes them look like fuzzy worms. This fuzzy fur is very soft to the touch, but it is also extremely ticklish when dragged across human skin. As a result, it is very easy to determine if someone has been implanted with a Xenomorph egg and when it has hatched, as the victim will immediately start squealing and squirming in ticklish agony. The first reported encounter described being blissfully unaware that he had been implanted with a Xeno egg. When having a pre-stasis meal, his crew mates suddenly saw him nearly choke on his food, then convulse on the table while clutching his stomach and stifling back laughs. It wasn’t until the alien popped out through his shirt that everyone realized what was the cause of his giggles.
Additionally to their fuzzy fur, Chestbursters also possess a feather-ended tail much like Facehuggers. This is also very ticklish to the host as Chestbursters can’t help but drag their tails across the torso while they seek warmth.
Chestbursters are timid as soon as they hatch, as all they want is a cozy, warm spot to snuggle in while they grow. But as soon as they grow to full size, they become very playful and cheeky. A fully grown newborn Chestburster becomes very hungry and immediately seeks out human laughter. The baby Leenomorph will proceed to tickle its human host, using its feathery body and tail, and even utilize its tiny mouth to give raspberries and tickly nibbles.
These worm-like alien babies are mischievous enough to slip underneath clothing to continue tickling their human, even sliding down pant legs to brush against thighs, knees, or feet. They move extremely fast, and are difficult to remove from clothing. The first encounter claimed it took almost a half hour to remove the chestburster with the combined teamwork of 6 crew mates.
If removed before they are done ‘eating’, Chestbursters will simply attack the nearest human until they’ve had their fill. Once they’re full, the babies will slither off to an enclosed dark spot where they will continue to grow.
While absorbing laughter nutrients from their host, Chestbursters will simultaneously start shedding their baby fur as they grow. After they’re finished eating, their human will be completely covered in shedded baby fur.
Lastly, Chestbursters who absorb their human’s laughter simultaneously establish an emotional bond that later strengthens when they reach peak maturity. In other words, they are marking you as their forever lee companion!
