❓[ DO YOU HANG ON TOO LONG? ] ❓ 🔹️ Have you ever stuffed up? Of course you have, everyone has. You know what means when you make a mistake? Your human! Okay, so we've got that out of the way. 🔹️ Sometimes you sink a ton of effort, energy, heart, money, love and reputation into your mistakes. This causes a cognitive bias to kick in. Humans don't like to walk away from things we've heavily invested in. 🔹️ This is where the discipline of letting go comes in. If you're replaying a mistake over and over in your mind, beating yourself up and just hoping things will change, you're setting yourself up for regular instalments of mental pain. 🔹️ Don't be like the gambler having one more bet trying to recover the build up of losses. Just STOP. Walk away. Let it go. Put it down, it's too heavy to keep carrying. 🔹️ Can you do it? Yes. . ➡️ WILL you do it? That's the real question to answer. . 🔹️ If you're the type who's really good at NOT dwelling on the past and can walk away easily, I'd LOVE to hear how you do it.
