yeah, i know nnt is ending, but for some reason, i found motivation to write a little bit today. so, here’s a little snippet from my vampire!Elizabeth au. 

As Merlin removes her hand, Alioni lets himself inhale and exhale a shuddering breath. The smell of fresh blood and viscera hits him the way it did when he saw those piles of bodies, years and years ago, albeit probably more intense considering his heightened senses. All his limbs tense, the demon blood in his veins still between freezing and rushing in an instinctual terror— the terror of one who knows they’d done wrong to a superior and that punishment is inevitable. Bile rises to his throat, dread and despair rising in much the same way, making his eyes sting and his chest swell. His gaze lowers to the filthy dungeon floor, pupils so pinched that his eyes seem to sink deep into his sockets. 

(“Kill the princess and bring me her blood,” the tall creature, beautiful and terrible, demanded him with a grin that revealed sharp fangs pinked with blood. “And you, my humble servant, will be greatly rewarded.”)

His Master, his Dark Lord who had promised eternity and the world, had lied to him— just like Twiggo did, just as Hendrickson did.

Since I’ve seen people asking what the Arden & Deldry story in Pokekishi is about, have a summary.

It’s the continuation of the one with that guy who sucked the life energy out of Meliodas and Co. People have gone missing from two different villages. One has lost all its men while the other one has lost all its women. Since both the Sins and Arden and Deldry are still in the vicinity they decide to investigate and end up working together again. In the forest near one of the villages Meliodas and Diane get attacked by the Chicken Matango Ban accidentally kicked and both shrunk. Since Diane is now naked she first borrowed Meliodas’ vest, then changed into Deldry’s clothes after meeting up with them. They meet a little girl that tells them what happened to her village. So there’s this Holy Knight called Finola that accumulates all these men in a village and she only allows men in there. She also has a barrier that somehow amplifies magic which is why Meliodas and Diane don’t turn back even after a whole day. They decide to save the village and try to get inside. For that all girls have to crossdress because obviously girls aren’t allowed inside. Deldry hates it because she was mistaken for a guy on one of her missions but ends up agreeing anyway. She then also is the one that questions Alioni who is also an ally of Finola who totally thinks she’s a guy. Apparently the village is in danger of being attacked by the kingdom of Liones and Finola wants to save the village. The reason behind that though is that I think on a mission she lost everyone important to her and was all alone. She has a magic similar to Deldry that catches the heart of people, but also makes them stronger while under her spell. She wants all of the men to be her family, to be loved by them and doesn’t care if she’s taking them away from THEIR families. In the end their cover is blown but they know how to break the magic barrier that also keeps the men under Finola’s curse. Well, things happen, Deldry and King end up under her spell as well and they have to fight against them too. In the end the impact of the battle makes the mountain break. Luckily the mountain breaking also results in the magic barrier being broken, turning Meliodas and Diane back into their normal selves. Finola turns out to be a Holy Knight who drank demon blood and is one of the old generation, just like Dale. She turns into that demon thing and the Sins defeat her. It has a nice ending since it turns out Alioni was actually in love with her even without the spell.
