Oh my goooooddddd this is so tough cause it's like ur asking me what my favorite scene in the show is. I was originally gonna go with the Castle Byers scene from season one... so cute and soft... the missing toof and his interaction with Joyce... but I think the more significant scene to me is when he wakes up in the hospital at the end of the season one.
I think the core of that season is how much everyone loves Will and how motivated they are to find him, so getting the calm after the storm where Will is finally back with his family and friends is so earned and satisfying.
I love all the little details... Will's little face when he wakes up, Jonathan and Joyce's reactions, Will being so small in the hospital bed, Jonathan's mix tape, Will being concerned about Jonathan's hand...
When I first watched the show back in 2016, I honestly think that the moment where I went from liking the show to really loving it is when all of the other boys come in to hug Will. The affection they all have for Will just warms my heart, and I love the look on his face when he sees them 🥺
