2) Why did you choose your URL? It is part of a song (from my favourite band The Cure) called “Lullaby” I just really love sunsets and the evening sun and I am also fascinated by shadows, also I think the lyrics and song are just beautiful.

4) If you could be any mythical creature what would you be?  I guess a fairy cause you get to fly but also still get to talk and do humany things?

5) Favourite colour? Sunset

6) Song you like right now? Been rocking to “Bleed The Artist” and the whole Heartbeats and Brainwaves album by Electric Six recently

Harry Potter Series by JK Rowling - I hated reading until I read the first book in grade three and fell in love.

The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde - The writing is just so fucking beautiful and clever and it really makes you think.

Frankenstein by Mary Shelly - Similar to what I stated above - what it means to be human.

The Thief Lord by Cornelia Funke - This is such a beautiful story about loss and family and friendship and making your own family when what you're stuck with isn't good enough. 

The Lord of the Rings Trilogy by JRR Tolkein - I saw the movie first and loved it, read the books starting at age 10 as the films were being released. Some adults didn't believe I was actually reading them but I proved them wrong.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians by Rick Riordan - Super fun series - the only thing I can think of that made me really feel for the "villain" (to the point of tears and mourning).

Brideshead Revisited by Evelyn Waugh - Beautiful, funny, and proves that queer people existed before the 1960s and that gayness doesn't need to be at the forefront of the story for it to be good or that being gay is a characters defining trait.

Embassytown by China Mievelle - Really made me think about language, the meaning we give it, and how we communicate.

Perfect by Natasha Friend - A book about a girl who lost her father and gained an eating disorder - sad and gave me perspective about self-love and how I should treat myself.

Oh My Goth by Gena Showalter - A teenage life-swap tale that was funny and thought provoking - especially as a child who was mercilessly bullied and wanted to be "different."
