Perhaps ironically, Geraldine’s best friend is Alistar.
What do the mountains mean to you?
"The mountains…remind me of home. My tribe…the Meuh Sauk Tribe, has a rite of passage. In human years, it would be at the age of sixteen. A young bull would have to climb the tallest of the peaks in the ranges. We would call it….Rumbruk Nahu. It means Eldest One. We were made to believe each Elder who had passed, would have their spirit sent near the peak at a small altar. We were made to climb the mountain…go up to the altar, and praise the ancestors, and gain their blessings to pass the ritual…The mountains are as much a part of me as they are a part of nature, Sejuani."
Alistar finished his words, his crimson eyes perring straight into the blue hues of the woman’s. A hint of melancholy danced within the red of his eyes.
//where is Alistar at home?
// Alistar currently resides in the Institute of War. There’s some descripions of his room in one of the head canon pages. owo
30 Days of Character Development: Day 10
Relationships and history:
What is their family history like?
Alistar has hailed from a long line of guardians of his tribe. The name Bawruk has been passed down from each father to his son within the family line, and each Bawruk has been known for their strength and physical prowess, and ability to protect the tribe in times of need.
How does it affect them?
Deep within him, Alistar feels he has failed his tribe. He was deceived, taken away from his village only to come back to it destroyed. He has come to realize that if he was not diverted away, he might have been able to stop the destruction of his village. He feels that he is not worthy of the mantle of the name Bawruk at times.
How do they feel about their family?
He continues to love and respect the memory of his mother and father. He respected his father especially more, having been a previous guardian and Bawruk.
How does their family feel about them?
His family was deeply proud of him for becoming one of the strongest guardians to date from the Meuh Sauk Tribe. His father especially, having been a predecessor and an Elder of the village, expected him to take on the role of Guardian. Alistar had exceeded all of his expectations and more.
30 Days of Character Development: Day 9
How are they with technology?
Alistar isn't particularly adept with technology. He has accepted a few things into his life to make some aspects of living easier. He's been using a lighter to help start a fire for his fireplace. He has a refrigerator for his food. He's able to understand the use of simple things, but most advanced technological pieces are going to be foreign to him.
Are they specially qualified in any particular field?
If he had any degree or specialization, Alistar would probably have a qualification in public speaking. While the common tongue isn't his strongest suit, he is influential, clear, and voices his opinions well during charity and rally type events.
Would they be considered at the top of the field?
I'm sure he still has some more to work on, but he's gotten more and more experience with speaking through hosting many events.
Have they ever been publically acknowledged for anything? (Ex. Nobel Prize)
Becoming a Champion was probably one of his celebrated moments. He was able to find a position where he could voice his opinions and help others through it.
Is there anything they’ve deliberately sought to improve at?
Speaking. He will constantly look to improve his speaking. As a Minotaur, he is not physically built to speak the common tongue, but he has managed and seeks to improve himself and make his message even clearer for his public speaking. He also always seeks to improve how to protect others. Whether it be physically training himself, or setting up funds to help others.
Do they speak more than one language?
Alistar speaks the common tongue with most others. There are times when he will speak to himself or recites rituals in the Minotaur language of Mauraw.

"for looking as fierce and menacing as any true land-dweller, alistar is actually really friendly. it was a lovely surprise the first time we spoke, and i presume we’ll have quite a bit to talk about in the future."

"The one some call the Dark Sovereign. I’ve thought of her often as someone with a large obsession. She talks about power and herself…I think she may have been held back at some time in her life. She might be making up for it now."
