So, I finally caved and started listening to the Magnus Archives. I’d only ever seen art and stuff for it featuring a kind of apocalyptic vibe or just stuff for the main pairing, so I didn’t have a ton of interest, but then I read that it was formatted like an archive record for a paranormal institute and my interest was immediately peaked.

Just finished episode two and I’ve already said, “…mm, don’t like that,” out loud at least three or four times.

Asexuality in Sterek

So, I've been reading through some Teen Wolf fan fictions (because I have a legitimate problem with fanfic addiction) and I've started stumbling across Asexual!Derek fics.

And they are amazing. Whether they're based on an ingrained asexuality or a disinterest in a sexual lifestyle after the trauma from Kate Argent, I love, love, love them.

They focus more on the emotional aspect of a relationship as opposed to the sexual side of it. The fics are sweet and emotional and I'm honestly shocked with how much I adore them.

That, and the asexuality seems to fit really well with Derek's personality.
