Returning to the ball after getting some fresh air, Prin walked in the room with her head in her phone. She fiddled with it nervously as it had been a while since she heard from Floo. Fearing potential repercussions from Ozzie if it turned out she was partially responsible for Floo’s sudden absence, she tucked it away in her dress pocket with a heavy sigh.
Finding her place against the wall she scanned the room, surveying the attendees as they entered. The moment her eyes landed on the unmistakable silhouette of her friend her heart skipped a beat. She hadn’t seen Alkas since their time together in Lust. Though she hadn’t allowed herself to acknowledge it until this very moment, she had, in fact, been incredibly worried for her ever since she disappeared from the front of the shop. Once she had found the phone Alkas left behind, she could make an educated guess as to what kind of fate befell her. Since then she had been trying to ignore the regret she felt for not protecting her keeping a better eye on the sinner. Without a second thought, Prin began moving closer until disgust from sight in front of her gave her pause. To her, to call the image of Alkas branded and leashed to Valentino abhorrent was an understatement.
Collecting herself, she marched right up to the pair, pointedly giving Valentino the cold shoulder aside from the occasional dagger she looked in his direction. If only they could have been in any other setting, she would have put an end to all of this here and now. Fists clenched behind her back, she focused her attention to Alkas. “I wish I could say I’m happy to see you, but there’s really nothing happy about this is there?
