Alkies: people descended of a demon ancestor that managed to replace all the water in his body with alcohol by means of magic. Most are hybrids although some have repeated the ritual to make themselves 100%. Though their bodies are completely adapted to a high alcohol content and therefore they don't get drunk, partial Alkies are very often mistaken by law enforcement for extremely drunk people due to the smell. Vampires and some humans often seek out Alkie partners as, uhm, living sources of booze. They really don't like that.
