Tumblr ate your ask, but luckily I just saw it in my emails.

Rock: Honestly, probably my laptop or my phone.  I mean it sounds really dumb and materialistic or whatever to just say it like that, but they're what keep me in touch with people.  I have a lot of really great friends I'd just never be able to talk to again without the internet.  

Bug: Pretty terrible tbh.  I know I've got serious character flaws, but I do exactly fuck-all about them.

Life on the comet has been tolerable. The rest of the science team are tolerable, but their temperaments range from eccentric to dull and dry. Strange new customs have arisen in your new microcosm of human society. Silence is preferable with all dialog being carried out in writing or electronic communications. The communal flow chart to diagram to update the state of the crew has evolved into a bizarre multicolored three dimensional string/note/tackpin matrix.

Yeah, we're about halfway through the novel now.
