(that I am answering from quite literally a month and a half ago, when @bright-and-burning gave me "build")

B - But then, the only other time he’d seen it in person had been November in Monaco, and he’d been a bit compromised by a dozen drinks and a line of coke and the two blokes he was deciding between for his birthday fuck.

U - It used to take more than a few glasses of wine and an airplane bottle of gin, though.

I - It’s not that he’d thought he’d be fine, because he hadn’t thought that at all, but he’d just sort of figured that he’d be able to fake his way around it for more than ten fucking minutes.

L - Lando hasn’t seen her since Christmas; he knows from the family group chat that she’s passed her A-Levels and he knows from her Instagram stories that she’s been here since right after that, but they haven’t spoken one-on-one in ages.

D - "Did you talk more about the flowers on your walk?” Their mum calls over her shoulder. “Sebastian is coming by again in half an hour to finalize a few things before he speaks to the vendors again.”
