if we're talking a place that is actually represented in the films it HAS to be the golden hall at Edoras. because even though the realms of the elves are beautiful Edoras really reminds me of the landscape i grew up in and it feels familiar and warm to me.
If we're talking unrepresented in the films I would LOVE to see the Glittering Caves of Aglarond at the height of Gimli's lordship there and the colony of Ithilien settled by Legolas. Tolkien's descriptions of the rebuilding efforts in Gondor are so intriguing to me and I feel like that hub of intermingled cultures would be so interesting to see...
