I hate finishing a good series. But I love it. I HAVE to know the ending, but once I get there my stomach ties in knots, my throat blocks up and I get in a mood. I don’t want it to end, I want to still be in that world! Sometimes I don’t even want to series to exist...but those are the only kinds of stories that I truly enjoy reading! They get my emotions all worked up and make me happy and sad and angry and that’s what makes me love reading! Ugh, the indecisiveness of wanting to read.
And... Blocked!! I swear Wattpad is going more down hill by the second?.#Wattpad #wattpadisnotadatingsite #allaboutthebooks https://www.instagram.com/p/CQHf1QlrJj3/?utm_medium=tumblr
The Sick Book Tag
I was tagged by @happybibliosaurus to do this tag, I can’t believe it! Lol this is my first one so bear with me :)
1. Diabetes - a very sweet book:
Between the Lines by Jodi Picoult, I read so many romance style books though that if you ever need a recommendation I would be the one you’d want to come to, lol so I could name several, But Between the Lines was one that was overly sweet and I liked it at the time but thinking back on it it’s kind of sickeningly sweet haha
2. Chickenpox - a book that you read once and will not read again:
Probably the Harry Potter series, I loved it but I don’t think I’ll ever be able to read it again, it just won’t be the same...
3. Influenza - a contagious book that spreads like a virus:
Katie McGarry’s series Pushing the Limits really caught me, I was obsessed with those books for the longest time! And she kept coming out with more!
4. The Cycle - a book that you read every month, every year, or very often:
The Yada-Yada Prayer Group series by Neta Jackson, it’s so weird too because it has to do with moms and married women and I first read it when I was like 13 and I loved it and I keep rereading it and I don’t know why, although now I’m married so it makes a little more sense lol
5. Insomnia - a book that kept you up all night:
I don’t normally stay up super late even to finish a book, there have been only two times I’ve stayed up til 2am or later (on purpose) while in my room by myself, one was for the movie Now Is Good which is based on the book Before I Die by Jenny Downham (I can’t remember if I stayed up all night to read this one), and the other time was to finish reading By The Time You Read This I’ll Be Dead by Julie Ann Peters and that was mostly because it was a depressing book and I have a very hard time going to sleep after reading a depressing book and I had to finish it! (That has been the last depressing book I’ve read.)
6. Amnesia - a book that’s been forgotten and failed to leave an impression on you:
The Sound of Letting Go by Stasia Ward Kehoe, I’m sure there have been countless others, but I can’t remember them lol and I didn’t start using Goodreads until a little over a year ago so I didn’t keep track.
7. Asthma - a book that took your breath away:
Redeeming Love! By Francine Rivers, This book was utterly amazing and tore at me so many times and I have fallen so in love with it and I will not be able to ever forget it and one day I will buy it because I would love to read it over and over and over!
8. Malnutrition - a book that lacked food for thought:
The American Fairy series by Sarah Zettel, it just was really boring and slow and was dull, I normally like faerie things too!
9. Motion Sickness - a book that took you on a journey through time and space:
The Hourglass series by Myra McEntire, the cover really intrigued me and I got hooked on those, I think those are the only ones I’ve ever read with time travel.
I tag: all of you! and @tinynavajoreads @tinybookgirl @bookavid @shadowtearling
Welcome!!
If you accepted the invitation then you are now a part of a blog that has other tumblr/booklr people who want to do more than just see pictures of books and have conversations that are more than just scratching the surface!
I made this group (after googling how) because all of you expressed some interest in wanting better online friendships and wanting to discuss books and so I thought maybe one of us should try starting something to help get this going! I am still trying to figure this thing out so please make suggestions, if I can make you all an admin of this page I will! Share books recommendations, share feelings on books, ask questions but be open to all kinds of answers and opinions, we will all have different opinions, and none of us want to be hated for them, we know that you might not agree but we can still be friends even if we don’t agree!
Also, if you know anyone else on tumblr that would like something like this feel free to add them or if for some reason you can’t let me know so I can change that or add them, I’m really excited about this and really hope it works out :)
Much love -- BrownieDarling
Let’s be honest, we all have books we have on our shelves that we’ve already read and will never read again and are taking up space, OR we have books that we got and will never read in the first place and are taking up space. SO, a solution to that would be, go through them, grab those books and come swap them at our book swap! And replace those taken spots with more book you won’t read or will read and then won’t read again! No money required! Just books!
Sims 2 series?
So would anyone me interested if I started a sims 2 gaming series? It’s all the sims I have, I’m afraid...
