O Allah, send your grace, honour and mercy upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad. Ameen.

When reason reaches its peak and the souls of His lovers feel helpless and broken, they grow restless and stretch their hands in supplication, seeking comfort for their burning souls.

When every manner of search within their power has been consumed, the doorway to Him is opened.

Through the Names of Almighty Allah we discover the truth and beauty that permeates reality. A genuine knowledge of the Names is the greatest knowledge, one can have.

Each Name and Attribute nourishes a kind of consciousness and humility in man and their study leads one to constantly better their actions.

Calling upon Allah (Lord of the worlds) by His Names and attributes is actually a form of worship if we realise the meanings of the Names, and internalise them in our hearts, such that we are motivated as a result of this awareness of Allah (The Most Glorified) Names.

There is nothing more sacred and blessed than understanding the Names of Allah (Glorious and Exalted is He) and living by them. How do we expect to worship, love, fear and trust our Lord, The Almighty Allah, if we don’t know who He is?

Calling upon the Names of Allah (the most Merciful) leads to greater awareness of Almighty Allah and His Lordship:

Using praises after saying Allah Almighty’s name is an act of respect of the obedient servant for the Lord.

- ᴛʜᴇ ᴀssᴇᴍʙʟᴇʀ ᴏғ sᴄᴀᴛᴛᴇʀᴇᴅ ᴄʀᴇᴀᴛɪᴏɴs

Subhanal-khaliqil-azhim,

Praised be the Almighty Creator,

Subhana-lladhi la mafarra wa la malja’a minhu illa ilayhi;

Praise be to Him from whom there is no escape and no refuge but in Him;

Subhanal-‘aliyyil-a’la.

Praised be the Highest of All.
