I know I've a convert since I was a teenager, but I'm really bad at apologetics and studying Scripture. I really need somebody much smarter than me to answer a couple questions for me, please. I would look it up myself but I'm afraid the links would just send me Catholic Answers, and I don't want to go there.
If Jesus is God and the Son of God, why does He refer to His Father as God like anyone else would?
If Jesus is God, why does He pray to His own Father, and essentially to Himself?
How do we know Jesus is God? What passage points to Jesus being God?
If we believe that Jesus is God, what are some counter-arguments from the Bart Ehrman-types who conclude that Jesus didn't become God until after He died and people called Him God decades or centuries later?
"All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,..."
