Soooo I decided to put the Rugrat character designs I created awhile back to use via fan fiction. Phil and Lil #AllGlowedUp Phil and Lil Deville both went through a major identity crisis during adolescence. They craved independence from one another and found themselves growing in very different ways, but by the time they got to HS their angst and animosity toward each other was pretty much resolved. They’d found a shared interest in acting and modeling which brought them closer together. Their freshman year of HS, they starred in a Nickelodeon original film titled “Separate But Equal”, that pretty much mirrored the identity crisis they’d suffered through previously, and became superstars over night. They were featured on the covers of “Teen Vogue”, “Seventeen”, and “People” and traveled frequently. Though their distance and celebrity, strained their relationship with Tommy and Chuckie at the onset, by senior year they’d joined Tommy and Chuckie’s creative duo making music and short films. Phil’s raspy voice and knack for wordplay, partnered with Lil’s sweet croon and ability to create melodies made them a dope ass addition to the sound Tommy, Chuckie, and Suzie’d been cultivating over the years. Their star power along with Chuckie, Tommy, and Suzie’s growing online influence made their squad the hottest shit in the streets. Susie Carmichael #AllGlowedUp Susie Carmichael been an overachiever since a shorty. She graduated Valedictorian from Jim HS, lettered in Field Hockey, Choir, and Theater, and was crowned Prom Queen and both junior and senior prom, much to the dismay of her arch-nemisis Angelica Pickles. Sophomore year, after winning a statewide talent show and being approached by an A&R from Capitol Records, she began take her dream of being a famous singer/ songwriter seriously. She released a couple singles on soundcloud that we got major plays, but eventually she grew tired of creating on her own. When she was a senior she started kicking it with Chuckie Finster, a sophomore, damn near every day. They had serious chemistry both inside and outside of the studio. Though Chuckie love creating music with Tommy, it wasn’t until he started collaborating with Suzie that his passion blossomed. It became so much more than the music. Suzie loved how rough around the edges Chuckie had become. Especially since her life, up to that point, had been so excruciatingly straight and narrow. Chuckie was a change of pace. We know how shorties love bad boys. After graduating, she enrolled at Stanford University to study english-creative writing, but she still spent the bulk of her time creating with Chuckie, Tommy, and eventually Phil and Lil. Now in her 3rd year at Stanford and gaining increasing musical success and exposure with squad, she’s flirting with the idea of dropping out to pursue her music career full-time.
