Waverly the houndoom!

You can find Waverly at the tea shop majority of the time, if not walking up and down the shoreline of the beach town. She loves drinking tea, and while she may not make the tea herself, she is the owner of the tea house. She's calm and collected, talks in a bittersweet cadence that is smooth and inviting as the tea in her shop.

Waverly had moved to the beach town after retiring from detective work, she feels deep shame for staining her reputation after being in too deep with crime to try to solve the biggest threats in society. She now enjoys retirement at the tea house, hoping that an easier life can wash away her mistakes with the ebbing tide.
