Even as a kid I knew the “Simba is Kimba” controversy but didn’t cared much for until now. Dear god, Disney not only claimed their work was 100% original but also sent a “cease and desist” to Jungle Emperor Leo. I feel like a tiny bit of my childhood died.

Also, is this video edition good or what? I specially loved how the material was handled, giving sources and all, I specially liked that tiny intro with Tesuma Osaku’s “Legend of the Forest”, movie I had to watch after finishing the video!
