Challenge 68: Over-Working: Muddy Mind

When I'm overworked, I tend to have a hard time separating projects and ideas from one another... they end up weaving their way into each other, whether its concepts or visualization or thinking processes. Sometimes this produces amazing results, but more often than not, the ideas get muddy.

Challenge 65: Freebie: Perfect Sandwich

For this challenge, I knew I wanted to play with laser cutting as a method to bring an originally digital concept into three dimensional space. This is a prototype for a much more extensive solution (with lots of weird stuff that you can stack up to make the “perfect” sandwich, including zombie arms, beer bottles, etc). The individual pieces have colored felt sandwiched between them so you can see the color through the cuts in the wood. Mmmmm! Tasty.

Challenge 61: QDC ‘Future’ Collaboration: A Robotic Future

Hello friends! This challenge I was lucky enough to be paired with the incredible Julia Lavigne. Across the miles, we melded minds and both pictured a future where Artificial Intelligence is a huge part of our existence. Using the same topic, we separately came up with sketches and swapped them to complete each other’s idea. The AI date scene is Julia’s concept that I took to final, and the Singularity one is my sketch that Julia completed. This was a fun challenge, great working with you, Julia!

Challenge 46: Series of 3: Floral Arrangements

Hey there! For this challenge, I thought it would be fun to play around with a series of three that interacted with each other in an interesting way. The three images can be shifted around and still feel like one connected illustration. I really wanted this to reflect how creativity breeds more creativity, and how we all inspire each other every day without quite realizing it.
