Overworked to death

When the pandemic begin , I was around 26 years old and in medical school

After I adjusted to “the new norm” I began to thrive .

I learned how to cook my favorite things , live without others , and slow down .

Things that were once important to me , no longer was .

I have watched my peers valiantly attempt to live a quieter , slow paced , limited materialistic existence,

But what happened ?

The price of food and everything increased

People were forced back to the office , when clearly the exact same job was completed perfectly at home .

I have seen my peers attempt to homestead, grow their own food , but suddenly home prices were unaffordable for most

I realized then, that America is an industrialized nation ,most of us designed to be “worker bees”

Destined never to have the “American dream” without working ourselves to death

No one wants that anymore

I do not want to purchase take out or a food service kit (more money ) bc I have spent all day slaving at a job

Too tired to spend time with my loved ones , but enough money to buy the garage products

Bombarded on me by my fav YouTubers and tv shows that will not allow me to breathe without viewing products I do not need

My point is , I want a slower life , with LESS material things , and MORE time 💫

The fact that an almost 18 year old feels it is ok to try and ruin a career as revenge is beyond me.
