From the moment I first heard about @alliesofskin I was impressed with their formulas but I’ll also admit that I REALLY didn’t want to love them. They’re on the pricier side and having been burned many times by brands that are all hype, I was hesitant to even try them. But the ingredient nerd in me was relentless and thankfully, their pr team kindly gifted me these 2 to start (which took the sting out of that first gamble of a purchase). Let me tell you...my skin responded instantly. I know not to rush in too quickly with anything this active so I just started with their Peptides & Antioxidants Firming Daily Treatment for the first week as my AM moisturizer. This beauty is supercharged with multiple Peptides, 7 Brighteners, 9 Antioxidants, and a 16.5% Repair Complex to firm and repair damaged skin and reduce all signs of premature aging. I first noticed that my skin was visibly brighter then over the next couple of weeks it had a plumper and more youthful appearance. My husband even asked if I had gotten botox because my typically furrowed brow and forehead looks so smooth! Next I began incorporating the 1A™ Retinal & Peptides Overnight Mask as a 1x a week treatment. I’ve used this 2 weeks in a row now and I’m shook. I’ve yet to find a retinoid serum that I can use longterm so I found the concept of this Overnight Mask to be very intriguing. This multitasker combines a time-released Retinaldehyde, 13.5% Peptide Complex, 9 Antioxidants, and 5 Brighteners to hydrate and brighten stressed-out skin while also repairing signs of premature aging.
