I hope this isn't a silly way to show my appreciation, and please excuse any grammar issues, but I am obsessed with your Windows Into The Evolved series on AO3. I binge read it last winter when I first found it and have been stalking the series page for updates ever since. I damn near celebrated the update in February! I was thrilled!

Your writing style is poetic and grotesque while managing to communicate so many complex feelings in beautiful ways. You also give these characters so much depth and interest that they feel like real, tangible people. I could sit here and ramble on about specific lines and chapters I enjoyed the most and why, but I feel like I'd just be here all day somehow listing off every line and scene in the entire series. (And I don't want to make you read the essay that it would inevitably be.)

I worry a lot that authors I enjoy don't feel validated enough by kudos (maybe thats just me though) so I try to leave them encouraging messages when I can. Please never stop writing! You're awesome!

But it never gets any closer, as if kept away from her by a force she could never put her finger on.

They feel familiar. Humming aloud in agreement to the voice that sounded right behind his eyes, their head tilted in the other direction and a brief smile cracked open behind the fabric mask as the puppets mimicked him once more. Like Him.

You know, Hoodie begins as Brian crouches in front of a tangled mess of roots, head tilted to the side as he engages in what could only be called a staring contest with the puppets in front of them, They're kinda cute, in a way.

Wasn’t the woman who dragged a body, weighed with death, through the forest just to win a favour. An apology, was that what it was? Or was it guilt? Misplaced and still not settled, not even when she raised that slab of wood above her head, shaking hands driving it into the dirt between her feet.
