I recently got into The Closer and Brenda/Sharon. I love your fic and your tumblr and appreciate all the effort you put into posting those offsite links on AO3. I’m like a decade too late so I’m not sure what to do with all my Brenda/Sharon feelings ... maybe I’ll write. I haven’t started Major Crimes yet as I’m reluctant because Brenda isn’t there and I love that friction but also Mary McDonnell is very good looking and I’ll likely succumb eventually. Thanks again for everything!

Whether or not to watch Major Crimes is a tough decision and I don’t envy you having to make it. It would be disingenuous of me to be like “Whatever you do, don’t watch it!” -- there are parts I sincerely enjoy (most of the first three seasons, plus a few episodes in season five) -- and I probably wouldn’t take that advice if it were given to me, but at the same time, I would never, ever encourage anyone to watch it. All I can say is good luck making that decision, and thank you again for your kind words!

It was all about how great he looked in the late 70’s and I kept saying I liked him older, but they kept telling me that “everyone” prefers him younger. And I’m think if you want to date him then you have to work with him since that’s all he does.

That's pretty much what I said, he's a text book workaholic, so your best bet of getting in with him is being Brian Eno.

Someone used to ask me questions about David Byrne’s attractiveness, but I didn’t agree that he was most attractive during a certain time period, and that was the end of that. They were like all about his appearance, which kinda bummed me out.

An anon had been asking me about wouldn't he have been the most amazing guy ever to date in the 70s if you could just unlock him with your super compassionate and understanding girlfriend powers and I'm just like, are you 14? Or just this morning someone asked me if there was a period where I wouldn't have sex with him (to which honestly I was like, if he's age of consent I'm game). I wonder if that might have been the same person?
