Starting university tomorrow. I am a rather delayed first ever student, having graduated from high school at 24, and enrolling at uni at 26 1/2.

As a disabled autistic, it's very overwhelming. But! On my school laptop I have this nice piece of art by @willowgarden15 as my lock screen, so hopefully the parasauralophus' will give me some luck.

It is interesting to me, although not entirely surprising, that there are a myriad of products designed to stop sweat all over the body, when the ability to sweat is one of those evolutionary advantages humans have over other species.

I know this is a popular science style book, but they really could have chosen a better picture..

I had no idea the Earth was only 40km in diametre according to the picture! Wow! I guess the impact made the Earth explode into its present massive form!🤦

One of these days they will name a new species allosuchus. I don't know when, but I have to believe they will, for my vanity if nothing else.

Also some pictures of a resident Steppe bison femur.

"Leg bone from the now extinct large Bison priscus. The hole is where a piece of bone was removed for radio-carbon dating. This bison roamed the Peace River region around 11,000 years ago before being replaced by the ancestors of modern bison coming in from the south."

The musuem pamphlet is 22.8cm/8.9in tall and 10.3cm/4in wide for reference.
