        She listens to her, of course. Her back goes ramrod straight, dipping her chin slightly in small embarrassment - Jynx definitely doesn’t want to make things difficult for the Captain, especially when it comes to check ups, it’s very important. 

        So, as she is still, her red eyes dart up to the woman’s features, wide and bright, “...are we almost finished?” She couldn’t help but want to get back as soon as possible.

        She looks up towards the sound of the familiar voice, her chin raising and eyes falling onto the figure in the doorway, “Oh! Captain..!” 

        As soon as the words register, she offers a small, soft smile, fingers lying flat against the surface in front of her. With it being as late as it is, she finds it more or less a little troublesome now, “Thank you for your time, Captain, but...It’s not very important. I didn’t mean to make you come here so late...”

People act like my world revolves around them. You only exist in part of my life and you're not gonna be around forever. Because chances are, when I enter a new chapter of my life you're not even gonna be a part of it and it wouldn't even be my fault. This is the reality of life. Accept it. You'll find another friend. Someone who will care about you more than I can. I'm sorry that I couldn't be the best for you but everything was about you now it's time for it to be about me. I need to focus on myself because you're doing well and I'm really happy for you. If you don't want to understand this then you're not really my friend. If you wanna take offense to everything that is your problem. I have no time for petty behaviour anymore. We're getting older and we have bigger problems to deal with.
